You will be invited to attend outside 12 step meetings 5 times per week. At Cliffside Malibu we offer a variety of ways to assist in your return to good health, with yoga, meditation, massages and a personal fitness trainer. Program Treatments
When you arrive at Cliffside Malibu you will be quickly and gently integrated into our heroin rehab program. You will be included in 3 treatment groups per day, Monday through Saturday. There is one group on Sunday, with the afternoons reserved for visitations or outings. In addition to the group activities, you will have individual therapy 3 to 5 times a week with a licensed psychologist, marriage and family therapist and a social worker. You will meet with your personal recovery coach once a week. Our therapists specialize in such areas as family systems, cognitive-behavioral and psychodynamic approaches to heroin rehab to seriously assist you in recovery. We recognize that you are part of a family group with issues outside heroin addiction. That is why in the heroin rehab program our therapists at Cliffside Malibu are trained to help with issues of addiction and recovery, posttraumatic stress disorder, grief, and loss eating disorders, depression, anxiety and mood disorders.
Levels of Heroin Rehab
When you first arrive at Cliffside Malibu, you will be in our primary treatment phase of group and individual therapy. In this phase of the heroin rehab program, you will take part in diverse group activities. Some of your choices include art therapy, equine therapy, and a spirituality group. There will be much to occupy you in treatment as you learn relapse prevention, education about addiction, goal setting and aftercare. In the heroin rehab program, you will be required to participate in drug testing, labs, and blood work as needed.
As you progress in the heroin rehab program, you will step down to a little less structured in your daily activities. Each program is geared to the individual so that there is an appropriate balance in activity to meet your needs. You will still live at the Cliffside Malibu drug treatment center, but you may have a car and be permitted to leave with a family member or sponsor to attend recovery-related activities. This will be the phase of the heroin rehab program that is the beginning of re-acclimating back into the community, for your job or to attend school.
Final Stage Of Heroin Rehab
This is the time to put to use all the things you learned in the heroin rehab program. You will reside in a luxurious sober living home with other sober residents. You will have a car. Treatment sessions in this phase of the heroin rehab program are set minimally to 1 to 2 offsite 12 step meetings a day, reports to your house manager, goal setting for the day, chore duties and participating in random drug tests. At this point in the heroin rehab program, you will begin to return to work, school, etc.
